Using Adobe in the Visual Arts classroom

A collection of ideas for using Adobe software in the Visual Arts classroom (NSW syllabus focus) and in teaching the Photographic and Digital Media syllabus. Focus is on Vis Arts, but is transferable. Introduces a few different exercises based in fine arts. Ways of using Adobe as extension activities. These are all tried and true exercises from a teacher with over 30 years experience and all have been road tested in the classroom.

Software - Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro with reference to Premiere Pro/After Effects

About the presenter

Mark Finlayson is the Leader of Creative Arts at St John's College Woodlawn. Mark has been using Adobe products since the early 90's. He is a Visual Arts teacher who specialises in Photography, and since 2005 has been mainly teaching Photography. He is an Adobe Campus Leader (first in Australia) and active in the Adobe Education Exchange.
